Anne- Marie...You really need to clarify who it is you are after wanting to find and to say what if any supporting evidence you have relating to the familiy...You seem to be looking for "Living People" eg Luke jnrs children but dont explain why and how its "Imperative to your search".....

I agree with Jonesey. You will find it much more satisfying to discover information for yourself, then ask for help if you get stuck.
Have you actually been to the Freebmd site at all, as suggested previously?

Anne-Marie,

Your initial post requested any information about a Luke and Catherine Daly who you thought might have married between 1925~1930 and have been born c1910. To me at least this indicated that you knew very little about them. People including myself have used their time and effort to find some details about the couple including the fact that they both appear to have been born well before you thought that they had.

Your latest post says that you are now wondering why the couples children were not taken in by their parents siblings after their parents died. How do you know that they weren't? Do you know something that you have not as yet revealed to those who have been trying to help you or to anyone else who might be able to do so?

You are also asking for information about the deaths of their fathers siblings.

I think that perhaps it is time for you to do a bit of research on your own behalf particularly in relation to Luke Daley Snr's siblings. If you visit the free site www.freebmd.org.uk you may be able to find the marriages and possibly the deaths of them. Most BMD records on that site currently go up to about 1945, some well beyond that date. If Luke Snr's siblings (Born 1885~1896) did marry then I suspect that you may find they did so well within the time span covered by the records on Freebmd. If using the site to see if you can find a record of their deaths remember that the female members deaths will likely be recorded under their married names if indeed they did marry.

Good luck with your search.

Can anyone find when Luke snr and Annie's children: Thomas, Rose, James, Margaret and Mary died. This is imperative to my search as Luke jnr and his wife who died in 1937 and 1938 left 4 children and I'm wondering why their aunts and uncles never took them in?

I'm wondering maybe due to the war years?

Thank you in anticipation.

I thought this was your last question Anne-Marie?
Does anyone think that Luke and Catherine were previously married?

I answered above -
No Anne-Marie, I don't think either of them were married before. Catherine appears to have been married in her birth name and there is no sign of a likely marriage in the right are for Luke.

A Stevadore is a dock worker.

The age is a bit out but this could be Roberts death -

Thank you so much, what is a Stevadore?

I have 1901 census details for Robert and Annie, however in 1911 census Annie is alone with 2 children, would this indicate that Robert passed away within the 10 years?
