Sorry Flick, just saw your query Elizabeth 1841 died 1850, as did brothers John 1837 d 1837, John 1843 d 1843, James 1844 d 1854 and Job 1857 d1864. Out of the remaining children, 2 daughters & a son remained in England, and 2 daughters & a son emigrated to Australia.

Glitter Baby, do you think that there would be that many inconsistent details, fathers name could be misread Jos/Jas, Eliza was always listed as older than Joseph, I am aware that there could be a 5 year difference on the Census.

I will have another look tomorrow.

Flick, yes they are the right family on the 1851 Census.

Interesting, my gg grandmother was Mary, there are a number of trees that she is not on, now I know why, probably wasn't baptised!!
