great grandad William James Dawe 1881 census

Hi could any one help me find the husband of Mary Selina Dawe in the 1881 census she is the head of the family and he is a sailor there is no name for him, she was born in Ashburton Devon, and was a tailoress and my great grandfather William James Dawe was born in Liverpool in 1879, and could you help with her maiden name I don't have any family to ask, Regards Lin.

I've tried Dawe, dawes, and daw*


and beta.familysearch doesn't seem to have them either

The district I. Wight is an alternative name for Isle of Wight and it spans the boundaries of the counties of Hampshire and Isle of Wight

However, there is a Lucy Bright born in 1870 in Hampshire on the 1871 census to James and Charlotte Bright...
