Many 7 year olds went to Canada without their families as 'Home Children' !

I haven't looked into this thread yet so don't know if that might have been the case.

am still very confused and trying so hard to piece this puzzle together thank you so much everyone for your help in tryin to piece this for me.any more help is much appreciated. i myself am still confused where the bannister comes from. i also have come to believe that maybe elizabeth did have a child bein belle with her sisters husband and names n dates have all been altered.

thank you jax for all your help as i now believe your theroy too. as my nan Belle Bowron Tucker did not use her Tucker surname she was know as Belle Bowron. Later when she gave birth to my father she named her son Anthony George William Bowron. i can now she why thank you so much now my head is sort of clear as now have more understandin of how the past possibly was. I always belived there was a cover up somewhere.

i know and thats the sad thing as its taken so long to try and find out where i come from.and the history of my family. i just really needed to know how n why i was a Bowron as my father always drilled it into my head my real surname is Bowron.Its just a shame there was so much cover up as now theres no family to reconnected with. thanks shane
