Hi ,im trying to help a friend of mine .So if anyone could help me ,it would be great.Im looking for any info on the surname Ganderton that came from Dalton /thrybergh rotherham south yorks. Ideally the parents of edith and joe ganderton . edith was born in 1911 . Her mother remarried and was later called Gott. Edith married william thomas edwards .thanks for any help given

If so, that tells us the mother's maiden name was Lion. Not seeing a marriage for those two surnames (could be mother had been married before).

Edith Ganderton b1911 ,married William edwards.they lived in rotherham .Wiiliam ran a barbers shop on whinney hill in rotherham .If i dont get bk tonight ,i will most likely have been turfed of the pc ,ur efforets will not go un noticed and are much appriciated .THANKS
