That sound plausible as they're about 5 miles apart - couldn't get 1911 up as it kept timing out grr.

Henry

Henry Report 21 May 2011 16:22

Yes im almost 100% sure that the marriage was correct. I just need to find out if Frederick died in Havering.

Eames

Eames Report 21 May 2011 16:09

So the marriage in Romford was correct .. I hope!

Henry

Henry Report 21 May 2011 16:06

After confirming with my father Kidderminster was not in the family at all howerver Frederick did live in Romford so we have picked up one wrong family.

Henry

Henry Report 21 May 2011 15:50

Sorry no that is all she knows. I'm going to email her to see if he was married to Minnie Steward then we might get somewhere

Eames

Eames Report 21 May 2011 15:47

Henry Report 21 May 2011 15:45

My Grandmother told me, All the information I have is defiantly correct so far.

Eames

Eames Report 21 May 2011 15:43

OK - first things first.. How did you know that Frederick Samuel's father was Samuel?

Henry

Henry Report 21 May 2011 15:40

I'm not sure if he died but I do know that Albert, Herbert, George, Charles, Frederick were very common names in the family which is why I am thinking it could be a match.

I thought it could eliminate him if you knew where he died or how old he was when he died.

You need the marriage certificate of Frederick and Alice to find his father's occupation.

Looking back.. Different as birth date doesnt tally up with the Birth ref.. Sorry. So not the right lady.

Eames

Eames Report 21 May 2011 15:35

Do you know what year he might have died in?

The only way to get the full name of Frederick jnr's mother is of course a birth cert.

I did come across a Alice Mary Smith born Romford in 1914 - coinidence as they married in Romford, but not knowing if its the right Alice ! She dies in Havering, London in 1971, born 1914 also.

Henry

Henry Report 21 May 2011 15:33

What do you mean the death might eliminate him?

Henry

Henry Report 21 May 2011 15:30

Hmmm I think that is a very likely match, it all seems to fit in quite nicely. I'll put all the information in my tree and see how it all adds up.

Eames

Eames Report 21 May 2011 15:29

I'm afraid we won't know how old was he.. you'd need to get a marriage cert to see if Frederick is of the right age and listed Samuel as father.

Choccy

Choccy Report 21 May 2011 15:29

that death might eliminate him, or not !

Eames

Eames Report 21 May 2011 15:26

If that is the right chap in 1911 Census then.. This might be his death...?
