Hi Christine ,Where did he die? Local government Cemetery office should search for a fee.

Is there not a newspaper record over in Scotland that gives out the obituaries where buried etc. There may have been a Newspaper article on his death have you entered his name in Google it is amazing what you can come up with.

or try http://www.findagraveinscotland.com/

or www.scottishcatholicarchives.org.uk/.../81/.../Default.aspx

there are probably other similar sites to be found on google,

TootyFruity. That only lasted so long.He died at Shieldhall along the Govan Rd,and his Widow stayed in Govan. If Christine has already been to the Mitchaell then she is local ,and should know the local cemeteries at that time.

Excellent tree Thanks

Wouldn't describe it as excellent myself.Once the good Scottish records were finished ,seems their lost at the good Yorkshire Parish records.115 in one tree ,and 35 in the other tree, does not a Spreading Chestnut make,or a fine Old English Oak. To my mind more a sapling.Took me 5 minutes to go 2 generations back .
