Really confused now as got the marriage cert for my grandparents and the facts do not match what I have got.
I believed that my grandfathers father was Thomas Emmett but it says George Emmett? and that he was born in 1873 but in 1896 it says he is 21 and then I get lost with my grandmother who I am told was born 1875 died 1908 was also 21 in 1896? her father Henry Hood, no idea to the Hoods as never knew that???

Hi Everyone, the maiiage was Sept 13th 1896 at Camberwell, all saints church, witnessed by Paterman and Browning with someone calledPercy Gaster as the officer.

The Lydia is correct and after that as well, its the fact if George or Thomas ! are his father, who are my great grand parents.

I have looked at my fathers birth cert and the address for Jane is the same as on the Marriage cert,
18 sternhall lane, camberwell my father was born 5 Brunswick Square camberwell (now brunswick park)
any ideas anyone. :-D
