Hi,
I am looking for any information on my grandmother, Mary Barnes born around 1887 in Lancashire. She married John Wright in 1915.
Thank you

Yes, I do but she lied about her maiden name. Said she was a Wright when in fact she was a Barnes. Child out of wedlock in 1907. Said her fathers name was William Wright.

Was this her 2nd marriage? Do you know where she married?

Ni I think it was her first marriage. They were married at the rister office in West Darby on January 11, 1915.

I thought I had found her in an institution on Aigburth Road, Mary Wright aged 4. But now I am not sure it is her. I did find 1911 census for Mary Wright (barnes) the mother working as a servant in Anfield. Once again she calls herself Mary Wright. Before her marriage.

I don't know if she called her Mary Barnes or Mary Wright. But the mother Mary Barnes was not married.

Ozibird

No I don't have a birth cert for either Mary the elder or Mary the younger. Mary born in c1887 was Barnes at birth.

You say you've found Mary the elder in 1911. WHERE was she born?
