In an earlier post you mentioned that the McBlain family came over at the time of the Plantation of Ulster. What does that refer to. I do not know that much about Irish history. Moira

Just having a glance over the thread....Look back at the 1841 Census for Mary and David.... John "McBLUNE"...Lab. Dont know how I missed it...He is possibly related to Mary..nuisance no age given..but he was born Lanark...given he was a lab. he would need to be at least abt.14. Thomas Muir...likely bro.of David...
