I just wish we could sort this one a little though - It has me quite baffled.

What do you think about that Frederick I posted on 1881 census ?

I'm pretty sure the 1881 census is the right one for Frederick ---the address was the same Road / Street on Thomas and Clara's baptism records --but WHY can't Sarah , Thomas and Harriett be found on 1881 !! and Thomas and Sarah just seem to have vanished --although Harriett and Clara are showing on 1901 census,

I'll keep delving today to see if I can find anything else, but not looking good, not knowing Sarahs last name or age doesn't help. !!

Hope Valerie has some good luck in her Mums "box" maybe lots of clues in there.
