Find Ancestors

Im trying to find my gr grandparents Arthur Charles Andrews and Mabel mary Ewer, they got married in 1899 in Frinsbury london. i cant find them in the censors of 1901 and 1911. I know they had 3 sons John, Albert, Ernest ( my grandfather) and a daughter sissy. my grandfather was born in shoreditch in 1916, by the time my Grandfather married that was in clerkenwell in 1936.

in 1916 birth certificate of my grandfather, its something like castmonger. i cant make the the first few letters out. its monger at the end, i cant make it out. on other certs that i have its labourer.

Sorry folks my internet dropped out.

It seems strange that Arthur isn't with Mabel in 1901 and she is a fancy box maker...... so Arthur isn't keeping her. Also later births for the children and then 2 quite close together........ so I wonder if Arthur was in the Boer War??? Or maybe just away???

The baptism records both state that Arthur was a Costmonger.

I wondered if Arthur had gone to war, in 1936 of my grandparent wedding Arthur youngest son, Arthur was already deceased. ive struggled for years with this family as ive know one to ask as my grandparents died years ago and my dad couldnt tell me anything of his grandparents. i have a photo of Albert one of the sons in a army uniform, but i dont know of what war.

I dont seem to know where Arthur was born or lived as a child, ive found mabel and her family, but not Arthur. all i know is his fathers name was alex and he was deceased by 1899 when arthur got married.

This is the best I have come up with! Age too far out I suspect. Alexander is a painter and plumber if that makes any difference!

Thank you for that, i had seen that one, not sure as Arthur middle name is charles and on this list a younger brother is Charles also. im going in blind with these names Arthur Charles and Alex are the only names on my certificates that i have. i have no birth ones yet.
