Just been looking at a post/moan on facebook about GR deleting threads

its on find ancestors we are all being reviewed by the looks of it dont know why none of us were rude the only one that was rude was laurence he called Flick an idiot so i removed all the help I had given from his thread then got pm from him so posted telling him not to pm me again or I would report him and that I wouldnt be helping him again

Called Flick an idiot??!! Must have a death wish.

I shall be on the lookout for him!!!!

I think the type of member that GR have attracted in recent years has not been good for the site, several years ago lots of older members that were very very knowledgeable with years of experience ended up leaving GR and going to another site because of this sort of attitude ( Family tree forum )

Only last week i felt i had to comment on a thread after someone asking for help told said member (no name mentioned) ;-) to not poke their nose into his thread, after my comment the poster deleted the post.

I don't think the person concerned saw it

I had a few pm's from him last night telling me not to post on his thread ect...well thats a red rag to a bull really is'nt it :-D

My comments have not been removed and none of the others were rude, so cannot understand why they have been removed...It must be him that has done it I would think?

telling you not to post on his thread!!!!! who does he think he is - if he makes a posting he obviously wants assistance and he can't pick and choose who helps him - we on the other hand can choose!!

i have just added to his post Ann and I will not be helping him in future and I think a lot of people will be doing the same
He hasnt made himself very popular with his rude comments and as to reporting us well none of us were rude the only person rude was himself

The needle on the Flick-o-meter must have been getting into the "danger zone" on that one!

He won't be getting any help from me either. (I do hope I remember!!)

I've removed my input on his thread and have reported two of his responses on there suggesting GR have a word with him - I note also he is fairly new to the boards

it's been while since we've had someone of his ilk thank goodness

I have just got another message from him saying thats good have told him to leave me alone or shall report him to GR

just found two messages from this poster - one to say "That's fine, the information was useless anyway" regarding my comment that I had reported him

the other in reference to the comment I made regarding him shooting himself in the foot, said "I missed my foot" - shame really!!

just took a look and it seems that at last GR have pulled his thread!!!

Hi Ann what a rude horrible man I have just looked and his thread is still there dont think he will get anywhere in life with his attitude certainly wont get any help from me

If any of you have facebook accounts, I think there is a photo of him on his page.
I do not think he needs to get anywhere further in his life.
I liked the idea of the death wish.
