Honestly,I don't have a clue if your research is "good" or not. You do seem to have a pretty firm idea of your ancestors.

Have you actually purchased a cert from:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

(references are found on FreeBMD)
to see if all the info matches??

Best,
Maureen

This is a submitted record on IGI so can't be taken as gospel:

William Worrall

Marriages:
Spouse: Jane Bucknall Family
Marriage: About 1864 Willenhall, Stafford, England

Might tie in with:

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Marriages Mar 1865
??Bucknall Jane Wolverhampton 6b 533
Burns George Wolverhampton 6b 533
Smith Ann Maria Wolverhampton 6b 533
??Wa__all William Wolverhampton 6b 533

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 15 Oct 2011 19:20

Unfortunately 2 William Worrall's born close together:

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Births Sep 1883
WORRALL William Wolverhampton 6b 594

Births Jun 1885
Worrall William Wolverhampton 6b 550

If I was going to take a gamble I'd go for the earlier one and get the certificate to see mother's maiden name and then know if the 1865 marriage above was correct.

Eh! There are those on here who will shoot one down in flames for suggesting a person on a census may be a member of family without buying a certificate to verify it - am merely avoiding their wrath!! ;-)

Seriously, I'm struggling to find a birth for William b1846 in Tipton, and there are a few lads in that neck of the wood with the same name.

MaureeninNY

MaureeninNY Report 16 Oct 2011 13:46

That area does seem to be the Wo*rr*l* "hot spot",doesn't it?
Heck-I can't even see Phoebe (or variations) let alone William!
Just a "well done" to Craig for actually purchasing a cert, So many people don't bother !

Best,
Maureen

MC-my flame thrower is safely tucked away under my bed. Probably needs dusting. ;-)

hey guys really appriciate the time you've put in,i've ordered the birth cert for william worrall 1883 so least i'll get his mothers maden name aswell.I was following the 1885 worrall line for abit but as soon as i got the marrage cer for worrall to bird it was on the sept 1904 and he was 21 in age so that told me on was following the wrong one and it was infact the 1883 william worrall
