This gets a bit confusing. If this is the same Charles Usher I am looking for, the Mckerna one. He also married an Isabella( her surname being Quinn)in 1913.
Why are things never easy. Anyway it is nearly midnight so i am off to bed. I will look at this again tomorrow. Many thanks for your help will let you know if I unravel this.

It is absolutely mind boggling the help you all give.

I usually just copy and paste the lot into a word doc and print

but someone else may have a better method

If you want to keep it on your pccopy and paste as suggested and drop it into a word doc.

If you want to print it out, highlight the whole page of writing (starting from the word 'profile' ) and then 'control p' to bring the print page up and highlightthe word 'selection'. This will then only print out all the highlighted text and not the entire page :-)

Hi all. Just received marriage certificate and Charles's faher name was Francis Usher. i have managed to find him in the cenus back to 1851 and his parents were a James usher born 1821 in Dublin and a Bridget usher born 1817 in County Down Ireland. I cannot find any information for them. Any idea of any web addresses I could look on to try and get any information. many thanks Olwen xx

Looks like they may have married in Ireland as daughter Mary's birthplace is Ireland.

Unless of course Mary wasn't James daughter but Bridget's from a previous marriage?
