Could I possibly have any census details available relating to:-

The only other details I have are that her father's name was:-
Henry HORWOOD.

Agnes married 1914 in Shoreditch and at the time she had a 2 year old son named George HORWOOD but gave her status as Single.

Ooh Helen I wonder if that is my Agnes, it appears to be but yet on her marriage in 1914 to George Henry ATTRILL she lists herself as a spinster.

I didn't even look for another marriage beings as she put spinster, that will teach me.

I am sure the 1891 & 1901 census' for Agnes are correct as on her marriage certificate the witnesses are her sister Martha and her husband Joseph SHEPPARD so that all fits but the marriage and birth of Goerge MENNIE doesn't.

?????? Alfred also single by 1911!!

I know Henry and Harry can be the same name but this would have both names different and it took place after 4 of the children were born. I will hang onto it though just in case.

As 1881 census seems to be a mystery could someone tell me where the children were born as I can't seem to find any of them around the Hackney or Bethnal Green area except Agnes born 1885 Hackney.

According to the 1891 census all the Horwood children who appear on it were born in Hackney.

Incidentally on that census Henry Horwood's occupation was a metal worker.

I had spotted the 1907 Agnes Horwood wedding that Helen found but I discounted it because that bride's father, Henry occupation was given as an instrument maker.

This would appear to be the baptism of a child of Henry and Matilda Horwood who does not appear on the 1891 census. Note the fathers full name.
