This looks like your Bens marriage

London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921
Name: Henry Frederick Walker Crossley
Age: 22
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1863
Spouse Name: Alice Mary Green
Spouse Age: 24
Record Type: Marriage
Event Date: 5 Oct 1885
Parish: Shoreditch St Leonard
Borough: Hackney
Father Name: Samuel Walker Crossley <<Carpenter
Spouse Father Name: John Green <<Labourer
Register Type: Parish Register

He's listed as a soldier here and it does say Henry and not Benjamin. Strange as this is the year they give in the 1911 census for their marriage

There are 12 pages about Benjamin Fred Crossley on Ancestry's military records. Having had a quick trawl through it looks as though he served ? 35 years and then re-enlisted at age 49 in 1914. The writing and imagery is not great and it will take some time to work through, but at some stage his wife was given special leave to join him abroad. If we can work out where he was in what years and when she joined him, we may find the other children not on the census as there are a number of Crossley births in the GRO Army birth indices.
I may not be able to come back today as I have things to do.

EDIT THat marriage posted by Gins is recorded in his army papers and he re-enlists from the 1911 census address
