can anyone tell me what 'NEWTON, Walton E Nursechild M 1 1860' means in the census entry above

G83

G83 Report 28 Dec 2011 15:42

George F greene in the census maddie provided was davids son and anns so where jane is a widow i believe the son in law must mean step son as it does tie in there

G83

G83 Report 28 Dec 2011 15:40

yes that could be her death her last child was ann in 1823 so it could tie in with this death here

G83

G83 Report 28 Dec 2011 15:39

yes maddie that looks like it could be correct for jane there i dont have davids death so i cant check if that ties in.... however all the occupations seem to be based around printing etc. There was definately a grandson david. as for the son in law im not sure unless it means step son? and with the 41 census, how comes there are more couples on there do you know?
