Sylvia S Cowans & Delos W Guthrie in Summit,Ohio
I think she was my Grandfather's sister

I have found 2 1930 Census which I think could be my relative's

Ellis Island has a record of William Cowans, 51, Harriet Ann, 50, Sylvia, 8 and David Robert, 17 arriving New York. However the names have been crossed off. Name of nearest relative was Samuel Cowans, 24 Adolphus St., Seaham Harbour. They were planniing to go to Akron, Ohio to join sons and daughter, 23 Christie St., Akron. (didn't give names though)

Another record of their arrival iin New York, not crossed out, gives nearest relatve as son, 24 Adolphus St. Also with them is Elizabeth Langley, niece, 19. This time they say they're going to join son, David crossed out and replaced with Jno., same address in Akron.

This trip was aboard the New York.arriving New York 11 May 1916. The other one was the Saint Louis arriving New York 23 April 1916.

Forgot to add the passenger list said that William had been in US before, 1887/1888 in Munson.
