There are a number of trees on ancestry that have Ellen marrying Ransom Chart Hodges born 1880 in US. They've copied off each other and it's codswallop!!

She married HER chap in England in 1872 and he was born 1851 in Romney Marsh.

Just as a matter of interest, this 1901 must be Ellen's daughter that went to US:

Margee - yes that is the correct one and I have now found that she married Ransome Chart Hodges in England and they lived here at least until he died about 18??.

Who's John? If Albert is Cordelia's son, John's not with the family in 1841.

The Ellen Hodges who died 1947 in San Diego, California had a birthdate of 15 Feb. 1852. Unfortunately nothing was entered for father's last name or mother's maiden name.

Can I ask for some more help please.
Looking for Ellen Sinden born 1853 to John Sinden & Charlotte Apps. Looks like she went to USA and married a Ransom Chart Hodges. Probably died in 1947 in San Diego, Califormia.
