Pretty sure its the first death I want ,but 2nd is only other one poss as its known for sure he died 1972 in NY....
I have his occupation and place of birth,in Carmarthenshire ,but not his year of birth for sure so finding John Jones on Census without parents names as we all know is nigh on impossible.....


Also what would be on a death cert from NY please,if I could get hold of it...

Not my area of research normally but anything to get round this brick wall....Oh let me back to research in Wales please.....

Thanks Gins...No chance then as I want it to get parents names if poss as his sister (direct line)is being elusive....Mary Ann Jones and she married a David Evans....How many on Freebmd for those names in and around the area and time.....And of course come under Carmarthen Reg office/Archives who are the WORST in the country including Ireland and Scotland,say they cant find anything to suit...AFTER 6 WEEKS...Bet they aint even looked,they done that to me before...I loathe Carms reg/Archives and if it was Ceredigion or Pembrokeshire or indeed anywhere else I would have an answer within hours if not days...Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Fans I dont think that first one is your man born in Wales........

He was an Engineer at Fords before he retired and def born Wales....Maybe the other one then...No idea when he went out there either...Trying to find out but the elderly relly cant remember all details,but did come out with Died 1972 as went to funeral and then said Bronx but maybe she got the year of birth wrong as she said 1887...Will keep searching...Till I give in.. :-D
