Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 170 Send Message	born 1897 in Wrexham Wales. I think she died in 1941 in an air raid in London but I cannot find any record of her death. My Aunt told me that Elizabeth ( k/a Bess) was a land girl. Can anyone help with this wall please? Thanks

	her birth isn't showing either ?? what other info do you have on her, Land girls worked in the country so wouldn't be in London unless they were visiting

	someone born c1897 would seem to be a bit old to be a land girl in WW2 she would be in her 40,s

Wright was mothers maiden name and after falling out with her father she dropped the Lawson ( I think). Land girl in ww1 and casualty of air raid in ww2 Alot of this is heresay so I apologise.

Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 170 Send Message	Siblings -jack lawson 1900 / sarah lawson 1902 / winifred Mary 1906 / Mary Winifred 1908 / Roger 1911 Mother Mary Winifred Wright 1872 - 1955 born Ruabon Wales Elizabeth or Bessie was never mentioned by my grandmother and apart from one photo given by my aunt , I have nothing. I have ust found a marriage in 1938 - Gwilym Jones and Bessie Wright but who knows????? It has been an unsolved puzzle for years and I keep coming back to it susan
