Did you understand the importance of the Nottinghamshire birth I posted? The mother's maiden name was Buckler. Therefore every possibility your people were there for a few years, maybe 1909-1912.

On the 1911 census they were married 5 years and had 4 children,3 had died.
The people they were lodging with were all form Bloxwich.

Maybe he was just going where the work was.

Possibly but I'm assuming they still live in Walsall in 1911. They got married in Walsall 1905 and have 6 children all registered in Walsall and then both died and buried in Walsall.

The record Chocy has posted is in Nottingham, it's certainly not impossible but I'm not sure ..

Hi all,

I wondered if I could ask your help once more. I have tried to find Joseph William Lawrence and Eliza Jane Lawrence in the 1911 census but having no luck?

I know that they were married in Bloxwich, Walsall in 1905 and that they son robert was born in Aldridge, Walsall in 1914 but still can't find where they were in 1911?

As always any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks good, Bloxwich is where they got married so it's a possilibility.

In answer to your earlier question, no I have never found then on census at all. I can find Eliza's before marriage but never after marriage living with Joseph??
