So he could of had a few wives but some of the children were born long after he died, according to one tree I looked at.... plus this one listed 11 wives???

There's no indication who married who from the list until after 1911 when the couples were paired up.

You say you thought George Clayton married Sarah Gillenwater but where does your information come from ?
