Having difficulty working this family line out I have birth/marriage/Military record,1911 census of Alexander Macpherson born 21/02/1862 in Ann Place,Old Machar,Aberdeen,Scotland, died 1928 Portobello,Edinburgh,Scotland.
I would like to find details of his family,
Father John Macpherson poss 1824 Aberdeen, occupation Comb Manufacturer from certificates, mother Ann Thomson, I have death certificate for an Ann McPherson widow of John McPherson comb Manufacturer, she died 13/03/1873 aged 50 in Aberdeen, witness was son Hugh James McPherson, father of Ann Mcpherson was James Thompson crofter, mother Isabella Davidson,
I believe John McPherson poss 1824 Aberdeen, comb manufacturer father was John McPherson, mother Mary Gellatly but not sure,
I think the 1861 census shows the family, but what is putting me of is a death certificate for a John McPherson 13/12/1866 aged 32 occupation Comb Manufacturer and (Single) father John McPherson mother Mary Gellatly, maybe someone can work it out, also cannot find McPherson Comb Manufacturer in Trade Directory for Aberdeen.
