	Helen - while you're checking out the grave, do a search for 2 of his kids - John Mark Simpkin and Grace Anderson. You should search at: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1®ion=UNITED_STATES Specifically, Cook/IL Ms, Salt Lake/UT BMDs, OR BMDs WI Bs (there's an unnamed Stryker who turns out to be John), WA Ds. 	No-I can't but on his Naturalization records(1920) he says he was born May 28th 1866 in Pemberton. Probably just threw the Atherton in there to make his name sound a little posher! Maureen
