Ian, certificates cost about 8 euros from GROIRE but you can get copies from the register for around 4 euros.

If the above is the correct marriage it may give you Mary's age and confirm her father's name and occupation which may help to identify him on the 1911 census.

In 1911 there aren't many Mahers living in Cork. The surname seems more common in Tipperary.

I think you need to send for some certs, ie the birth of Ros.....check the parents details

There seems to be some difference between what you have been told ...and the facts

He still believes that the death record for Mary/May Griffin is correct. ie 1905 1989 Sandwell
If this is so Catherine Maher nee O'Neill would have been 11 years old in 1905 lol
So we cannot find a marriage for Joseph Maher and Catherine O'Neill
and no birth for Mary/May Maher under these parents
Does the records you found for Daniel and Rosaline Maher show any parents details?
we know that these were her siblings
