Does anyone know if the 1911 Census is complete? Trying to find my great grandparents . Thomas Walton born 1869 and Isabella Walton nee Smith born 1883 in Liverpool. They were married in 1903 in Liverpool. Many thanks in advance.Thomas was in Liverpool on previous census.

Hello Julie, welcome to the boards.

Could you tell us who their children were and roughly when they were born?

We might be able to trace them that way.

Stuart - Isabella Walton was her married name (nee Smith). How could Joseph Hope be Thomas Walton's brother? (Or am I missing something?!) :-S

EDIT: No, I'm not talking to myself - there was a post there, now deleted without comment.

Julie Report 8 May 2012 20:55

Don`t think that ties in.Thomas didn`t have a brother Joseph.

Marie Celeste -
Have deleted my comments as wrong age for Isabella anyway. To try and explain - I was trying to say that Joseph's wife Elizabeth Hope ? nee Walton could have been Thomas Walton's sister, so Thomas' wife Isabella would probably have been (loosely) recorded as sister in law.

Ignore me, I might go away!!

I am fairly certain he had one wife after comparing the census and marriage cert but it is confusing. She was Mary Jane Cowan nee Mcdowell.
