Can anyone find a marriage or death of Ann Dunning Kenyon who was bapt. 17 July, 1828 in Leeds. Her parents are Thomas & Hannah, on the 1841 & 1851 Census they were living at North Court Lodge, Brandon, Reg Dist Thetford, Sub Dist. Methwold

Thanks all, I thought I had checked bdm, I had put in Ann Dunning but nothing showed up. Not sure of areas in England, so also probably would not have noticed Hackney!

On the 1901 census....it states Edward R Clifton (Widower) is the Father in Law but he is actually Annie's son..........so should have been transcribed as...Brother in Law.....

Just reading through the 1881 Census, Rose is an Annuitant, is this the normal procedure if they are married?

In a number of my ancestors, they do have an Annuitant, but they have all been widowed or separated.

Having lots of probs with GR site, will have a look again tomorrow, thanks again PricklyHolly for all your information.

Hi again,

I have found a birth of Hilda Maude Clifton b 1874 Birmingham, who married John Henry Smith on 21 September, 1897.

Parents were listed as Edward Kenyon & Rosa. Have found Hilda living with her grandmother Sarah Wells on the 1881 & 1891 Census.

Can someone if possible, please check the 1901 & 1911 Census to see who & where they are living.

It looks like both the children lived with different grandparents, after Rosa died.
