Sorry I haven't been able to come back to my thread until now.

I cannot believe how much information you have all found for me. You kindness is overwhelming! Thank you all so much.

Margee, the death for that Andew Ferguson Woodcock is great as I had stumbled across a reference to it about 15 years ago but couldn't be absolutely sure he was mine. He was named for Jonathan's little brother, also Andrew Ferguson Woodcock born 24 December 1859 and died 27 June 1860. Both of these boys were named for Jonathan's grandfather Andrew Ferguson.

I am now going to print all this information off and take time to digest it.

Thank you all so much once again for everything that you have added to my family history. Your help has been so much appreciated.

Keep up the good work you all do as helpers on here.

:-D :-D :-D

Thanks again from one very happy Mrs. Rootie!

Margee - Seems v likely. John Mullins in the same h/h is listed in Lovell (1871-2) at 332 Seigneurs (Alex Coultry, the butcher in the next house is at 126 Richmond, the next street) - both lie between Chatham & Lusignan - abt 1km SW of Nazereth, where we see Wm Pride).

Do you have this?

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967
about Jonathan Woodcock Name: Jonathan Woodcock
Spouse: Mary Prince
Event: Mariage (Marriage)
Marriage Year: 1872
Marriage Location: Montréal, Québec (Quebec)
Place of Worship or Institution: Presbyterian Saint Mark

Original says Jonathon Woodcock, blacksmith, son of John Woodcock, Glasgow and his wife Jane Ferguson married Mary Prince (not sure if that last name is Prince?, could be Pride?), daughter of William Prince?, (can't make out occupation), Montreal, and his wife Katharine MacDougal.

The signatures definitely look like Pride and not Prince.
