Harriet isn't with them so most likely in a live in school or domestic establishment . Girls went out to work at an early age often into domestic service.

Is it possible that Harriet was fostered out Adopted then had a different . meaning Official adoption didnt start till 1927

Not every child was baptised.

I have one family where the oldest and youngest were baptised but not the middle ones.

If you have the birth cert and no father listed were you expecting to see something different on a baptism record - which at the moment does not appear to be one

On that London School admission posted above there is also a sister called Mildred born 24 Jul 1898. Their address was 96 Braughton Road.

Have found them in the 1901 as children of Arthur and Amy so that school record may possibly be eliminated.
