In a similar time period to Foster and Mary's children, there is evidence of another Foster Hall.
His wife was called Rosa. I havent established his parentage yet and am not certain that he is a relative, but will try to establish if he could potentially be a son of Foster's missing brothers, George and Patrick.

Yes, I do have the Jane Kelly links as she was my great-grandmother.

You ask if Thomas emigrated on the death of Sarah Jane Foley (my grand parents). The thomas Hall who emigrated to USA after the death of Sarah was her son (My uncle).
Thomas Hall, her husband, remarried and lived in the Oldham area of Lancashire having 3 more sons by this marriage named William, Edward and Stephen.

estimated date of marriage of Patritii Hall and Mariae Tully has now been revised in original post. i cannot trace where the original estimate of 1820 came from. :-|

All were, I believe, brothers of Thomas Hall who was born on 1 Jun 1836 in Coolderry, Ballinasloe, was my Great-grandfather. I do have the descendants of Thomas but would like to find information on his brothers.

The family of Foster and Mary are there, but there is no ancestry or descendants. Just some (not all) of the children
The only extra piece of info refers to the child called Mary, born in Ireland and died at sea 1862?

Unless there is a generation missing but that would mean lots of children missing also...

Foster Hall and Mary Cullen married in 1857.
Foster would be 25yrs old. How old was Mary?
There does seem to be 2-3yrs between most children, until we get to the last two.
There is 5yrs between George and James but ana another 5 or so between James and Ellen Maria

If Mary Cullen was a similar same age to her husband, it would make her about 50yrs old at time of Ellen Maria's birth.
My thinking is that Mary was a bit younger than Foster.
Would you agree?
