Find Ancestors

Hello, am trying to find information in relation to my great grand aunt Adele Noel.

Adele was born in 1895 in Fulham, London.
In 1915 she married Hugo J Fleischman in Paddington.
In 1916 they had a child, Adele A Fleischman.

I know who my grand aunts family were ie ancestors but can find no record of when Adele (grand aunt) died or Hugo and I can find no marriage for Adele A. I have checked the passenger lists and cannot find them leaving the country although another pair of eyes maybe a good idea.

If anyone can please help with this enquiry I would be ever so grateful.

How old was Hugh when he married and his occupation ?

Hi all, thanks for your input. Not sure how old Hugo was when he married but my great grand aunt, Adele was approximately 20. Sorry, no occupation for Hugo either. I know this is a long shot but it just seems strange that apart form the marriage and birth of young Adele I have been unable to find anything more. Sorry if I've taken a little time in answering only I am not, for some reason, being alerted by email that there is an update to my thread so I have to check every now and again.

Hiya, I think you may have found the ladies as the birth years are more or less spot on. Adele A's birth was registered in June 1916 and Adele Snr born in 1895. Adele jnrs middle name began with an A so could be using her second name. I know how many times I've come across misspelt surnames as well which can make a difference when researching. I have Fleischman with one n and you have found it with two. Can you please tell me where I can find the transcript you have given above? I wonder where Hugo has got to?

Hi Tempest, that's were I had looked, I said another pair of eyes might be helpful. Unfortunately I've used up all my credits on FMP now and can't buy anymore for now. I've now checked on Ancestry and seen what you have given above. The mystery continues unless of course the two Adele's are my family and have left the country. Not sure why Ancestry doesn't have access to outgoing passenger lists, not unless I'm missing something. I can only find incoming.

Hi all, I now have an update on my original posting. Not sure if anyone can see this or will pick it up, perhaps I have to start a new thread, but here goes.

I now have the marriage certificate for Hugo and Adele.

Hugo Josef Fleischmann age give as 26, bachelor, mechanical engineer, residence at time of marriage 17 Elgin Avenue, London. Father Cyrll, not sure if it should be Cyril, Fleischmann, railway station master. Hugo marries Adele on 3 January 1915 at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate, Paddington London.

Adele Noel, aged 20 years, spinster, address 21 Grittleton Road, London, I have her father etc and know all about him.

Now, as we know Adele has a daughter in 1916, name given as Adele Anna Fleischmann. Adele leaves England with daughter, name given on passenger list as Anna Fleischmann, 6 months old destined for Vigo, Spain. I can still find nothing on Hugo. As above, I have the marriage cert so if anyone wants to take a look at it please let me know and I can attach it I think to a PM. I would like to know what people think about Hugo's father's name though.

Now, I have tried to search the Electoral Rolls for between 1911 and 1915 for Hugo and his father but haven't found anything, perhaps another pair of eyes or more would be good please. On my tree in Ancestry, Historical Records come up for Adele Hubertine. There are a couple of hints for an Adele Fleischmann in Washington, deaths in 1946 but obviously without worldwide subs I cannot get into these records. Can anyone help with this one please? As you know I have nothing further on Adele and her daughter once they leave England for Spain. I am at the moment trying to post this message on Ancestry but the message board facility is playing up. Sorry if this message is long winded.
