Daisy seems to have vanished into thin air, Patchem. However, she does appear in 1 tree on here so I PM'd Maureen last night suggesting she e-mails that lady.
She also has Reginald Soar so fingers crossed!

Reason Reginald not on Electoral rolls earlier is probably because he is at Sea.
On marriege cert he is Chief Petty officer.
1920 2/3 times away as Wireless Operator and 1926.

I thought Reginald was a bookseller.

Change of occupation because of war?

It says Chief Petty Officer RNVR

The Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve records are on Documents Online at TNA but our Reggie isn't showing up.

There's a Reginald Soar with middle name Rhys, and there are lots of Reginald Arthurs but none of them Soar or anything similar.

Daisy was born in 1897 so wouldn't have got the vote till 1927 when she reached 30, then all women got the vote in 1928. In 1927 Reginald is back with Arthur so they've either split up or something has happened to Daisy between 1918 and 1927.

So Reginald spent too long at sea and Daisy went off with someone else and took his surname??
