to establish the mothers maiden name it may be necessary to purchase one of the certificates.

Janene has already stated that she HAS the birth cert for Cornelius and identified the 1881 census posting as being for the correct person

Reggie, this is the reason why I put the other births on here. It would appear that there is a little confusion regarding Mary Ann's maiden name and of the name on a couple of the childrens births.
