How did you get back to c1804?

I realise that you are new to this, but you seem to be jumping from generation to generation with no coherent pattern

i got in contact with a person who has my mother, father, me on his tree but after looking at the tree all the people were hidden but he told me the tree from 1746 and im trying to work back fowards me.

Just a few words of advice.

You really are going the wrong way about it.

You should begin with you and work backwards.

Working from somebody else's research which may not be correct is always dangerous.

Always begin with what you know to be correct and work backwards from there.

It is much more fun and far more rewarding to do your own research.

the reason for this is my mum past away when i was young and lost contact with my dad so i knew very little about any family i have.

George that's very sad and you have my sympathy but you still need to begin with your birth and the births and marriage of your parents.
If you post your full name and place of birth and your parents names we may be able to help you with your research.
Give it a shot. There are some great researchers on here who will help you all the way.
