The George who was born 1899 is my grandfather.

Right I am going to go back and double check the research we have done, not sure about George who was left at the hospitals fathers birth cert so will get back onto my aunt. Thanks very much when I have more and possibly some certificates I may be back thanks

OK after more digging I am told that I had it wrong George was 12 when he was left at Mount Vernon Hospital which may of been a convalesense home or something of that type. He had been a patient. Does that make more sense? I think the Gould marriage for Alice Bearcroft is wrong too as the DOB is too far out.

How are you related to George?

Why do you think he was abandoned at the age of 3? For this to be the right family, then George senior had to die around 1903 and there is NO corresponding death.

Why did you think this marriage was for a woman aged 60?

The marriage produced two children.

Perhaps you could tell use who exactly you are researching.... we need to know which of these families is yours.

Assuming this is the correct death, George senior died in 1911 (just before the census)

So not when George junior was 3 years old as he was born in 1900. And assuming it is the correct 1911 census, then he hadn't been dumped at a hospital in Middlesex at the time. And why Middlesex when they lived in Evesham??

Ah OK thanks, so I think that is the wrong Alice! I am now looking at the Alice that married Hector Gould in 1932? Maybe that is the right one but having trouble finding her date of birth. Sorry am a bit of an amateur xx
