It is written very faintly under the date of marriage (glad you think it is also 1917 Prickles).

On his discharge form it reads.........

Name (Surname first): Lawrence Alexander Brown

Disharge 19/04/19

Address on discharge........40 Catherine Street Dundee.

Ch Bronchitis.......Athsma........Disabilities.....Otitis Media?

His discharge paper gives the address of 40 Catherine Street....which is where they were living when he joined..

Married.........allowence for 2 children.......weekly pension 11/-

He must have returned to London at some point, on his daughter Lilys marriage to Stanley Bell in 1935 her address is shown as Tayside, Hill End St Albans..I notice an Alexander lawrence 1878 has died at St Albans 1945 (I think)
