hmmm - digging around the web I see that there are a lot of Dunning's in Dorset - wonder if Alfred came from there? |

I have that he came from Norwood in Surrey, not sure if that came from a census or what someone told me. |

On the 1841 census Alfred and Eliza are down as not born in that county. The two children were. |
