You are a star! William/John was from Denmark and not Norway! . That Means that the passenger record could be the right one! Wow! Will have to try Lloyds Passeger records from Livepool and see if I can come up with something! I don't have the worldwide Ancestry subscription, so find it quite hard to find things out. please do not start another thread ................ that will only lead to people duplicating the work already done.

It's just the way we researches work!!!


You could edit the title to say something like "Norwegian ancestor -- tracing in Europe"

and then also edit your opening post (OP), by adding a line or two at the end of the post (do not delete anything), that says something like "Now looking for information on how to trace in Europe, see p.2" (or could be 3 by then)
