I have found them both on 1881 - unmarried and no sign of Annie !!

I do NOT believe she was born by then and am sure that her birth will be one of these:

Perhaps Ann(ie) lied on her marriage cert to Albert Jenner because he was so much older than her and also she, being under the age of 21, would probably need parental consent to marry??

I note that both of the witnesses were from 'his' side !

On one of the census there is a William Parks with the family as a boarder when Emma was married to John Diprose.

Wow!! Its going to take me a while to go through all of this!!. I got Annie's fathers name from a marriage record. If it is right that is. 1d 591 last quarter of 1902 Lambeth.

After speaking to my dad I have managed to confirm some details with all your help. My Ann (Annie) was born in 1884 in Mereworth. Her parents were Frederick Bell and Emma Parks. They married in 1883. Frederick's parents were Josiah and Anna. I have found a Picture of Annie outside the grocers shop in Vauxhall. Annie died on 28th April 1972. My dad still has all the legal documents regarding her will. Many thanks to all of you who helped me XX
