OK, As it was WW2 their will be no electoral roll but as you have an address then a visit to the main librarary where the rolls are kept and check the years before and after the war, Bear in mind only people eligible to vote are listed and see who is listed, Hopfuly her father? will be one, Then you can find a marriage, the cert should name her father, Then once you have her married name you can look first to see if she is still living or dead plus you will then be able to search for possible children to that marriage. |

my grandmother isn't alive. her adoption papers have been destroyed but i do have her birth certificate which i bought online. |
