Trying to find info on Charles Hatt born 1916 in England more than positive its Walthamstow found his birth record now it seems to have disappeared I cant find his birth or marriage certificate I do have some details on his death cert though any one know what would have happened to these records? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help, heres what I have Charles hatt my husbands grandfather married ellen wright in possilpark Scotland, They had 2 children
Charles died in 2002 in leven fife aged 86 as I am waiting on his death cert this is all the details apart from I do know he was one of 13 children he had a brother called Alfred this is all I know.xx

The WW1 records for Alfred born 1892 show that his wife was living in Coventry with his son Alfred and daughter Agnes. Here's the daughter's birth (to add to the the children born in Hackney)

On the marriage cert. of Alfred to Alice Walker - the father was named as Charles Hatt - Electrical engineer.

This appears to match those details on 1901 but the mother is not an Ellen !!

The 1911 shows the same family but father Charles is stated as General Labourer??

If you look at the image, he has written 'Motorer Work at Motor Car Makers' but the enumerator has crossed this out and put in General Labourer?

Dea, The Charles that married Ellen Wright was the son of Alfred and grandson of the Charles that you have posted on the census. Looking at the census that you have posted and the names that Alfred and his wife gave their children it lookslike the correct census for the Alfred who married Alice.

Not seeing much in the way of marriages for the children of Alfred and Alice.
