So the family posted is the right family, Jane E Hatt was reg quarter 1 1937 in Hackney. Your original post thought they came from Walthamstow but that could be because his parents and some of his siblings lived in Walthamstow - the ER I posted for 1964 was that area.

Are you trying to find his ancestry or his siblings and their descendants?

Last thing his mothers maiden name was walker.xx

Neil was born in Glasgow 1939 Milton district, Jane (jean) was married in Glasgow in 1960 to Robert ballantyne, and apart from Charles having a brother called Alfred this is all I know.

The above married in 1952 as Sidney G Hatt. His wife is with him on the above electoral roll.

Alfred & Alice Rebecca were at various addresses in Hackney up to 1938 - but I can't see any children popping up as they reached 21.

However, they appear again in 1964 at 33 West Ave Road, with them are Thomas F and Roberta A. Also at the same address is what looks like their married daughter Evelyn M Francis and Dennis Francis.

Dea, The Charles that married Ellen Wright was the son of Alfred and grandson of the Charles that you have posted on the census. Looking at the census that you have posted and the names that Alfred and his wife gave their children it lookslike the correct census for the Alfred who married Alice.

On the marriage cert. of Alfred to Alice Walker - the father was named as Charles Hatt - Electrical engineer.

The 1911 shows the same family but father Charles is stated as General Labourer??

If you look at the image, he has written 'Motorer Work at Motor Car Makers' but the enumerator has crossed this out and put in General Labourer?

If you are following down from the Charles who married Ellen then I do not believe that it leads you to the Alfred who married Alice !

The WW1 records for Alfred born 1892 show that his wife was living in Coventry with his son Alfred and daughter Agnes. Here's the daughter's birth (to add to the the children born in Hackney)
