Other info from my family tells me the following
There is a connection to a Jemima Hamilton Moseley and a silk mill in Cheshire or Lancashire I cannot find her but there is Jedediah Hamilton Moseley so the name may have changed through the years,, jedidiad is female and she married a William smith, this might be pie in the sky but I am stuck so any help out there thank you
