Hi MC

Custom House is an area, not a road! I didn't know that either.

Info from Death Cert for William Champion Smeed who died at Leytonstone Workhouse Hospital in Feb 1900. Home address given as 24 Adamson Road, Custom House.

M.A. Smeed was present at death and was said to be his wife.
However his wife (who WAS a Mary Ann) was already deceased.
Haven't been able to spot a second marriage.

Cheers

Andrew

Never seen that site before Patchem, sadly it's just fetching up the same results as FMP - odd house numbers only.

I was actually looking for something else and arrived at it.

So just put it there so poster has it for future reference.

But might be more expensive than FMP
