	Hi Sue I searched my socks off to try and find Nancy/Ann in the 1841 census.........and the 1851 census where i was hoping to find her with daughter Sophia and son Richard. I searched on both Ancestry and FMP.........but failed miserably! Have you managed to find Sophia in the 1851?

	I can only assume that it's the same Richard who appears on the 1861 census and for some reason the name "Earnshaw" was not included on his baptism record. Posted earlier...... 	Thanks gang :-D James and Anne (Nancy) had I think, these children: William Ambler 1819 – Elizabeth Ambler 1821 – John Ambler 1822 – Hannah Ambler 1824 – Thomas Ambler 1825 – Anne Ambler 1826 – James Ambler 1829 – Sarah Ambler 1833 – Mary Reziah Ambler 1835 – Sophia Ambler 1838 – 1908 Richard Ambler 1840 – Looking at Ambler marriages in Knottingley it appears that a few of the girls were widowed very young so that's another headache. I'll go through the above now. Thanks again. x
