Hopefuly someone can find the birth of Muriel Hodgin.

Muriel W Hodgin married 1939 to Frank G J Thacker July qrt Oxfordshire.

From the probate of Muriel Western Thacker
Dod 3 January 1963 ( off ancestry)

Free bmd dod 1963 dob abt 1903

Frank George Jeffries Thacker dob 1889 Aston Warwickshire.

I have all the information of Frank Thacker including his other marriages, but i cannot find a birth for Muriel.

As the marriage took place in Oxfordshire i have looked for births 1888-1905

Using Muriel and no surname, and i cannot find anything in that area.

It does look a if i may have to get this marriage certificate for any other information unless someone has any other idea to help me.

Have you considered that she may have been married before? Or born somewhere other than England/Wales?

Sorry Reggie i should have added there were no Children. Also Frank Thackers 3rd wife is still living but cannot help so have not mentioned her name.

You need the marriage cert for 1939 which will tell you whether Muriel was a widow & will also give you the name of her father.
I suspect she had been married previously as she would have been 36 in 1939.
Quite old to be marrying for the 1st time.

That birth I posted in not your girl. Her mother left a Will and Muriel is still a spinster in 1941
