Any ideas on my stuck Vanlints? Thomas Dartnell's brother William Alfred Dartnell 1855-1931 married Sarah Ann Vanlnt 1857-1930, I have Sarah's siblings and descendents, I have her father as George Vanlint 1835-1905 and married to Sarah Unknown 1838-1883, but I cannot find marriage for Sarah Ann Vanlint's father, or anything else further back. Interested due to Hugonaut connection and relative proximity of ancestry to myself. Spelling variations deliberate, I have tried many other variations of spelling without success to find other records. :-S

I am over the moon with this info re William Alfred and Sarah Vanlint. I had not thought of Vannit as a variation in spelling, but it makes perfect sense.

Progress definitely made re Vanlints, frustrating that there seems to be little to be found pre 1837 on genes reunited, Vannit did not come up, nor did Vanlnt, Vanlint, Vanlent and some other variations.
