Sorry Lianne, not really sure about Emma.

(have a look on link above, posted earlier, perhaps admissions to Workhouse could be looked at if they have them)

Thank you Chris. I have the details for the Lambourne's already as shown above, have found it fairly easy to find them as they move from Wiltshire to Walsall where daughter Elizabeth seems to meet Charles.....
Can you help with establishing Emma's early years? Who her parents are? Where she came from? If that is actually her in the workhouse in 1861 in Walsall? Why she is there alone?
Many thanks for all your help so far :-D

Have been checking out my documents... Reg Walker (My Grandfather) birth cert says Father Charles Alfred Walker & Mother Elizabeth A Walker formerly Lambourne 10/4/1909 so that matches but the stange thing is that Charles married Elizabeth on 2/2/1916
They had most of their children before they actually got married!!! Naughty
Noted that Constance Mabel (First Child) was born in Walsall but their second child was born in London, so it could be that their family was not best pleased about them having a baby and they decided to move away and just never got around to getting married.
They married on 2/2/1916 and had a baby July 1916 ish
I wonder why at this point they decided to actually get married, had the law changed with registering births??
:-S

Why do you think his marriage to Elizabeth is his second marriage? Because his is 42 and she is 43? odd indeed.... but it's states he is a bachelor and Elizabeth a spinster. Are you or anyone able to advise on this???

This does look likely to be him as I've checked his marriage cert and his profession is noted as Stationway Engine Driver (I think) in 1916 - 25 years later than above, so this looks connected.... do you think??

Hi Thanks you so much for all the pointers, I'm slowly going over everything... I do not have Constance Mabel Walker's Birth Certificate but the above into is what I have listed in the tree on Ancestry.
I have looked at some info that a relative gave me and she that Charles (Emma's Son) was living as a lodger with a family in the 1881 census as Emma had died.
She also said she saw her working in a shop is Islington on the 1871 census

Thanks
Added: Does it specify she was 29 at death because if born 10/6/1850 and dies 19/3/1879 she would only be 28. Are you sure it is the same person?

The David Waller in the 1881 census was born in East Horley (?), Surrey, whilst Emma was born in Walsall..... They could be siblings - try and find them together on a census. But I think his surname really is Waller.
Added: Could be this marriage as Waller Marriages Sep 1860 Farnfield James Guildford 2a 59 Humphrey Ann Guildford 2a 59 Humphrey Anne Guildford 2a 59 xxxxLANSDELL Jane Guildford 2a 59 xxxWaller David Guildford 2a 59
So a different family...

Hi Mike, I saw that census showing a Charles with a David & Jane and that could be a possibility, I'm not sure though as that said he was born in Kennington and I'm not sure that's near Islington?
My tree is on Ancestry, more up to date than on here.. it's lianne 526 and I've posted the certificates I have... I've really lost my way a bit.
Defo Charles Affred Walker as you can see on certificate. Charles marries Elizabeth Ann Lambourne in Fulham so it seems Charles stays south and it looks like his Mother Emma goes to Walsall (if that is her :-S)
